BayOps Terms of Service
Effective date: [DATE YOU PUBLISH]
These terms govern your use of bayops.io and the BayOps Complete Shop Audit ("the Service"). By using the site or buying a report, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
BayOps is operated by [LEGAL NAME / TRADING NAME], based in Pakistan. Contact: support@bayops.io.
1. What the Service is
BayOps is a self-serve diagnostic tool for auto repair shop owners. You answer a set of questions about how your shop runs. The Service then:
- Shows you a free result — letter grades across six areas, reclaimable hours, and estimated recoverable revenue — calculated in your browser from the answers you typed.
- Offers, for a one-time payment of $49 USD, a personalized report and 60-day operating plan, generated from your answers and delivered by email with a permanent web link.
The paid report is generated by an AI model from your answers, measured against industry benchmarks that are stated inside the report itself. Every figure in the report shows its arithmetic in the "How We Calculated This" section.
2. Estimates, not promises
This is the most important term in this document. Read it.
Every hour figure and dollar figure produced by BayOps — free or paid — is an estimate, computed by applying published industry benchmarks to numbers you typed yourself. These figures are:
- Top-line, not profit. Recovered revenue is not money kept; parts costs and payroll consume a share of every dollar.
- Not a forecast, and not a guarantee. They describe what similar shops have been observed to recover. They do not predict what your shop will recover.
- Only as accurate as your inputs. If the numbers you enter are wrong or estimated, the output is wrong or estimated in the same proportion.
- An upper bound when totalled. Individual recoveries draw on the same bay capacity and staff time, so the sum overstates what is simultaneously achievable.
BayOps does not promise, guarantee, or represent that you will earn more money, save any particular number of hours, or achieve any specific result. Outcomes depend entirely on your shop, your market, and whether and how you implement the plan.
3. Not professional advice
BayOps is not accounting, legal, tax, financial, employment, or business advice, and we are not your accountant, lawyer, or consultant. The report is informational. Decisions about pricing, staffing, software purchases, employment practices, or anything else remain yours, and you should consult a qualified professional where appropriate. Nothing in a BayOps report creates a professional or advisory relationship.
4. Purchases, payment, and refunds
- Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle — not BayOps — is the seller of record for your transaction, handles your payment and any applicable taxes, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- The price is $49 USD, one time. There is no subscription, and nothing recurs.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Your content and your data
You keep ownership of the answers you enter. You grant us permission to use them for one purpose: producing, delivering, and supporting your report. How we handle that information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for what you enter. Don't enter anyone else's confidential information, personal data about your employees or customers, or anything you don't have the right to share.
6. Your report — what you may do with it
When you buy a report, you get a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use it inside your own business. That expressly includes printing it, taping the checklists to your walls, and handing the staff pages to your advisors and technicians — that's what it's for.
You may not resell, republish, redistribute, or make the report publicly available, and you may not use it to build or train a competing product or service. The report's structure, templates, scripts, and the BayOps name and branding remain our intellectual property.
7. Acceptable use
Don't: attempt to access parts of the Service you haven't paid for; scrape, spider, or bulk-extract the site; attempt to disrupt or overload the Service; submit deliberately false data to manipulate outputs; or use the Service unlawfully.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service and your report link available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we ever have to retire report links entirely, we'll give reasonable notice so you can save a copy — the report is designed to be printed, and we recommend you print or save yours.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or business decisions made in reliance on a report.
- Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us (i.e. $49).
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here removes consumer rights you have under the law of your own country.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material updates will be noted on this page. Your purchase is governed by the terms in force when you bought.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence, and does not affect your rights against Paddle as merchant of record.
